Lessons from Quarantine

Sooo.....well yeah, I love food. You know that I know it. Who doesn't? However, it wasn't until much recently that I found how important and useful bananas are.

WHAT?!? BANANAS? yep. Bananas. Legit, it didn't hit me of how much I use the fruit until the household ran out of it. It was the WORST. I felt like I couldn't cook anything.....because of a SINGLE fruit. How crazy is that?

Okay, so I might or not be definitely be exaggerating this but bear with me. A banana is a fruit that's always there (whether you miss your breakfast or not), it's there for you. It's a vital ingredient in smoothies which really makes it a whole lot better. Easily, it can be added to make some foods taste sweeter such as cereal or waffle or pretty much anything. Last but not least, the fruit is regularly used to eat within Indian cooking. Now I don't mean to cook as it cook the fruit. The fruit itself is eaten the way it is with these types of food. It's quite delicious.

Now, I must admit, I'm a BIG fan of smoothies and sweets. Especially with the hot weather and stuff, smoothies are just the drink for the season. Without bananas, I often find myself not having a "good" ingredient with the other main fruit of the smoothie. Not only that, but it does so much more than you actually give it credit for.

Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm Bananas for bananas? But you can't tell me that it doesn't look good...

YUM!

Stay Safe, Stay Bananas!
